In bottles?! YES. For the first time ever, after years of it being in keg only, we’ve bottled our pumpkin pie spiced brown ale. A full bodied and slightly dry brown ale that’s just ever so subtly spiced with cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg that will certainly allow drink more than one. Every year the spice levels change and this one is definitely more on the subtle side. Most of you know about  this beer, formally known as GOURD BROWNY, and know that the name is a (pretty obvious) nod to a very influential, creative, and outright iconic Canadian individual (and band) that we’re all huge fans of here at Picaroons. We’ve been brewing it for years. Though this year we honestly second guessed as to whether or not we should brew the beer again under this name or change it completely.. That second guess didn’t last long. We love this beer, we love where the name comes from, and it was endearingly brewed and named with nothing but complete respect and tribute for you-know-who. GOURD is NOW ON TAP and available IN BOTTLES at The Picaroons Roundhouse, The Brewtique in Downtown Fredericton, The Picaroons General Store in Uptown Saint John, and The 5 Kings in St. Stephen. It will start hitting the alcool nb liquor shelves next week along with going on tap at a plethora of great bars and restaurants around New Brunswick. #WhileSuppliesLast #peace
